*** As of January 2019, WE HAVE NO FUNDS ***
We are in the process of raising money for the Emergency Fund! Please share with your family, friends & networks!
With your support, last year we were able to provide support to 35 youth through our Emergency Fund to purchase Ventra passes, providing down-payments for rent, and supporting utilities such as heat and water!
We'd like to continue to support young people who need help the most, and we need your help! for every $5 donation, PFC will be able to provide youth a Ventra Pass, so that they aren't forced to walk in the cold. for every $50 raised, PFC can support an at-risk youth's heating bill so they don't have to freeze in the Chicago winter.
Whether it's $5, $50, or more, every dollar helps! Donate today, share our event, and like us on Facebook! Help warm the hearts and homes of LGBTQ+ youth who need support the most!
Announcing PFC's Emergency Fund
As we work and wait for the funding necessary to fully rehab our building, we believe that accountability to our community means figuring out how to to support people today. We are very excited to announce the launch of the Project Fierce Chicago Emergency Fund, available to LGBTQIA+ folks in the Chicagoland area, up to age 35, who are experiencing housing instability and require immediate financial assistance.
We are able to provide up to $500 in support to each individual who meets these requirements and completes our intake process. We have a total of $20,000 available for this one-time initiative, thanks to the generosity of our community of donors. We will provide direct assistance to folks in the form of Visa gift cards, Ventra passes, or direct payments to landlords or utility companies.
